The Fresh Market currently has an opening for an eCommerce Merchandising Manager in our Store Support Center (099) in Greensboro, NC. The eCommerce Merchandising Manager works to ensure that customers are receiving the best content and experience on their journey to purchase from our eCommerce platforms. Partnering with merchandising and marketing, the role influences purchase behavior and drives revenue generating activities on the websites.

What You'll Do:- Manage the accuracy of product detail pages (product name, description, size, weight, tags)
- Manage online item availability based on channel, delivery method, and store
- Create new, and maintain existing digital aisles to streamline the shopping experience
- Optimize eCommerce site search functionality
- Build collections and landing pages of products to support Marketing needs
- Analyze competitors’ eCommerce websites for new functionality and create internal roadmaps for similar improvements
- Drive conversion with the eCommerce Marketing team by delivering a best-in-class Video Commerce experience
- Maintain and further develop the eCommerce experience for loyalty members
- Design, deploy, and further develop an exceptional meals-focused guest journey
- Provide direction to Marketing coordinator on an as-needed basis
- Additional duties may include: internal reporting and data analytics, presentations to leadership, and ad-hoc requests from other teams
At a minimum, what you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other related fields
- 5-7 years of relevant marketing or merchandising experience
- 3+ years of experience with product catalogs and eCommerce
- Ability to self-direct with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and data analytics
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with grocery eCommerce merchandising
- Experience in the restaurant or prepared meals industry
- Experience with Instacart, DoorDash, UberEats or similar
- Experience with database management (HQPM or similar) and reporting (Microstrategy or similar)
