About the Position:

The Manager, Corporate HR Business Partner will support The Fresh Market’s Store Support Center (SSC) with key HR initiatives that drive business growth and success. This role will oversee the corporate recruiting team and will serve as an HR Business Partner to assigned departments. The Manager, Corporate HR Business Partner will report directly to the Director, HR & Team Member Relations. This role requires a hybrid working arrangement at our SSC (099) in Greensboro North Carolina.

What You'll Do:
  • Accountable for the management of full life cycle recruitment for the SSC team, including sourcing, coordinating, screening, qualifying, interviewing, and hiring of candidates.
  • Develops and implements talent acquisition strategies for the SSC, advancing our approach to be more proactive, creative, consistent, and competitive.
  • Implements solutions related to key HR initiatives with internal business units including hiring, onboarding, performance management, talent management, professional development and employee relations.
  • Provides high level HR expertise, support and coaching to managers on HR policies and processes, people management, and career development
  • Performs employee relations activities: coaches managers through the progressive disciplinary process and supports end-to-end employee relations investigations, as needed.
  • Develops and documents policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and that TFM is following best practices.
  • Supports compensation practices across the SSC in partnership with Corporate Recruiter and Total Rewards team utilizing internal and external benchmarks, research and compensation best practices.
  • Maintains human resource information system records and ensures data integrity for all SSC team member information including inputting promotions, supervisor changes, terminations, and all other employee-related changes.
  • In partnership with Training, designs and facilitates leadership training to SSC people leaders with a focus on professional development and best practices related to HR.
Qualifications:

At a minimum, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 6+ years of progressive Human Resource experience
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
  • Intermediate analytical skills: ability to interpret sets of data to report on trends
  • Demonstrated ability to keep confidential information confidential, and demonstrate trust, integrity, and fairness in all employee dealings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills with ability to influence and achieve consensus at all levels of the organization
  • Experience working in a multi-unit large scale organization
  • Strong project management skills, with ability to manage competing priorities and multiple work streams; ability to meet deadlines
