About the Position:

The Fresh Market is actively seeking an entry-level Change Management Specialist for its Store Support Center (099). This individual will play a key role in driving project adoption and usage. Your mission: maximize positive outcomes while minimizing disruptions to business processes. You'll report directly to the Corporate Transformation Office (CTO) Director.

What You'll Do:
  • Apply a change management process and tools to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders and a working knowledge of existing business processes to understand the impact of changes.
  • Prepare, support, and equip individuals to embrace and utilize changes across various dimensions: business processes, systems, technology, job roles, and organizational structures.
  • Anticipate and address any resistance from employees and stakeholders impacted by company initiatives.
  • Coordinate with the communications and training training teams to support change management needs throughout a project's lifecycle.
  • Administer post-implementation surveys and monitoring to collect data, perform analysis and measure the results of changes.
  • Consult and coach project teams.
  • Integrate change management activities into project plans.
  • Establish a post-implementation monitoring process to measure the results of changes and make necessary course corrections.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and encourage employees and stakeholders to embrace change as a way to drive growth and innovation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
  • 2-4 years of experience developing and implementing change management strategies and plans.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong ability to inspire and motivate others to embrace change.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with change initiatives.
  • Team-building skills with the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of organizational behavior and the psychology of change, and the ability to apply this knowledge to drive successful change initiatives.
  • Excellent strategic thinking skills with the ability to identify opportunities for change that support the organization's vision and mission.
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.
  • CCMP or other change management certification.
