About the Position:
The Manager, GTM Operations and Merchandise Execution reports to the Dir, Merchandise Execution and Space Planning, and is responsible for the overall operational excellence of The Fresh Market’s Go-To-Market process from strategic calendar creationthrough to instore execution, and review.
As a member of the larger Merchandise Execution Dept, this role will also support the team as a project manager as needed.
What You'll Do:- Responsbile for daily management and development of internal GTM (Go-To-Market) Process; including calendar, meetings, process adherance, and performance.
- Develop KPIs for internal GTM process
- Facilitate GTM feedback and process improvement discussions as part of an effective oversite meeting cadence and escalates issues as needed
- Schedule and facilitate milestone meetings
- Support Merchandise Execution (Visual Merchandising) Team with project management
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, resources, schedule, risk mitigation, and budget, and track progress against them.
- Prepare standard and ad hoc management reports and presentations for assigned projects.
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of project management toolkits and methodologies used within The Fresh Market.
- Additionally, this role will periodically be tasked with supporting Merchandising VP and GVP in strategic initiatives and commercial projects
At a minimum, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably within retail or corporate transformation context.
- Ability to manage non-direct reporting teams effectively through RACI/Influence; excellent conflict management capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience and expertise to handle complex projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with GTM or similar organization lifecycles
- SmartSheet experience or similar project management software
- InDesign and Photoshop experience
