About the Position:

The Fresh Market currently has an opening for an Social Media Coordinator in our Store Support Center (099). The Social Media Coordinator will maintain The Fresh Market's presence across various social media platforms and report on content performance to drive sales, awareness, engagement and overall expansion of The Fresh Market's digital presence. This individual will be responsible for creating, scheduling, and implementing social media campaigns; reporting weekly on content performance, platform optimization, trends and competitive activity; and benchmarking performance to build The Fresh Market's brand presence through social media.

What You'll Do:
  • Partner with Social Media Director and Social Media Manager on:
    • Monthly social media plan/calendar to bring the monthly Magazine to life and promote seasonal and holiday offerings plus high priority initiatives
    • Video production (ideation, filming, editing, post writing) and uploading across platforms
    • Identify trends that will drive engagement and highlight relevant trends and platform updates in weekly report
    • Social media content strategy & goals by channel
  • Tag all social media content in Sprout Social for analysis by channel, content topic, seasonality, and type of video.
  • Track and analyze performance of all social content and provide weekly and monthly reports on KPI’s across each channel and for priority campaigns.
  • Create monthly Social Performance Plan supporting the Marketing Calendar – defining what we are measuring, testing and learning on social channels each month.
  • Track social media trends to identify test & learn opportunities and for inclusion in weekly performance report.
  • Support Social Media Manager and Community Specialist on social community management, responding to guest comments, messages and reviews.
  • Track commonly asked questions and answers for direct conversations with guests and escalate conversations to Guest Care or PR/HR as needed.
  • Ensure all planned content is delivered and posted according to the monthly calendar.
  • Maintain consistency between social media calendar and cross-functional marketing calendar that is reviewed and distributed weekly
  • Represent The Fresh Market brand in social media content.
  • Collaborate with other departments to review social media posts, manage internal approval process, customer inquiries and feedback.
  • Ensure deadlines are adhered to internally and externally.
Qualifications:

At a minimum, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a marketing, communications or related field is required.
  • 2+ years digital marketing and social media coordination experience.
  • Astute on industry best practices with ability to adjust to ever changing digital and social media environment, brand evolution and the company’s strategic initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication, social media copywriting and editing skills (writing samples will be required) with ability to create content and copy that’s aligned with brand personality and standards.
  • Ability to tag, track and analyze social media performance data to identify trends and derive insights on top performing content each week.
  • Skills and experience filming and editing videos for social media using native apps and CapCut
  • Possess a deep understanding of all social media platforms and management tools, optimizing content accordingly.
  • Positive and solution driven attitude, detail and customer oriented with ability to multitask and organize in high paced worked environment.
