As theGuest Service Specialist, you will be the store’sfront-end point person for hospitality, guestflowand cash operations.You lead by example bymaintainingefficiency, merchandising front-enddisplaysandensuring consistent execution of cash office controlsandauditsmaking sure every guest leaveswith an exceptional last impression. What You'll Do:- Be a visible example of hospitality, educating guests and team members on products, services, and complete meal solutions.
- Manage frontend guest flow and efficiency by directing and supporting cashiers while ensuring backups are minimized to deliver frictionless checkout experiences.
- Execute and uphold cash office procedures and controls, including management of cash, keys, andthesafe.
- Direct the guest service team, as scheduled to maintain sanitation and cleanliness at the front end and the guest restrooms.
- Support execution of digital fulfillment orders, ensuring speed, accuracy, and adherence to brand standards.
- Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach at the front-end and throughout the store.
- Assist in managing the department, inventories, and team for effective minimization of product loss.
This position requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.
Qualifications:At a minimum, what you’ll need:
- 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
- Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Retail, culinary, and/or grocery experience.
- Experience with electronic shelf label systems, inventory management technology, or AI-enabled retail tools.
Physical and Work Conditions:
- Repetitive hand/arm movements, grasping, bending, reaching, ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds by oneself, and exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Ability to use tools and equipment: knives, ladders, stepstools, box cutters, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Required to spend long periods of time on their feet and stand or walk without a break (for up to 4 hours or as required by law).
- Required to wear an approved hat, hair net, and/or beard guard, and personal protective equipment.
